The client required the demolition of an existing side extension and the construction of two new, energy-efficient homes. Designed as two-bedroom properties, each house needed to meet modern living standards while incorporating features to allow for future mobility access. The brief focused on delivering comfortable, low-maintenance homes that would be economical to run and adaptable to a range of future occupants’ needs.
We began by carefully dismantling the existing side extension, managing waste removal responsibly in line with environmental best practice. The new homes were built using modern construction techniques to achieve a low-energy rating, ensuring they would be cost-effective to heat and maintain. Wider door openings were incorporated from the outset to support potential future mobility requirements. Our in-house team oversaw all aspects of the build, coordinating trades to deliver each stage on time and to specification.
The completed development delivered two modern, practical and energy-efficient homes ready for immediate occupation. Each property offers a comfortable two-bedroom layout, with high-quality finishes and efficient heating systems to keep running costs low.
